Student Generate Expectations
Intervention
Students generate their own list of classroom rules that should be followed, allowing your students to do this shows that you truly value their thoughts and opinions. A benefit to having students generate expectations they will have clear understanding about what is expected from them.

How to use Intervention
Hold a group discussion where you talk about what expectations should be followed in a positive environment.
Create an anchor chart of these generated rules and have it hanging up in your classroom visible to other students.
Refer back to the classroom set of rules throughout the school year
